Ripple (XRP) at Cloudbet Casino: a tag the cashier supports and a help page that mentions it in passing
Cloudbet is the opposite of Roobet on tone. Its help page treats the tag as a detail, a few words in a deposit walkthrough, while its own currency data treats it as a feature of the coin.
Both statements are the operator's. The gap between them is the reason to read the cashier carefully.
What does Cloudbet's deposit guide say about the tag?
In the step list of the article on depositing crypto, after the instruction to copy the exact address from the screen, comes a sentence: if needed, copy the tag or memo and paste it into your wallet. The words if needed are the problem. They tell a reader the field may be absent, and say nothing about what to do when it is present and skipped.
The same article warns that Cloudbet is not liable for losses from incorrect information supplied by the sender.
What does its currency data show for XRP?
Its fees page carries a currency configuration in the page source. The XRP entry names the blockchain as Ripple, sets a tag-support flag to true, and includes an address pattern that starts with a lower-case r, the shape of a classic XRP address. The configuration is our evidence here; the rendered table on the same page is not, because its columns move.
The configuration also holds a smallest deposit of 0.1 and a smallest withdrawal of 1, in XRP. The page above it says Cloudbet charges no deposit fee and that withdrawals pay a flat fee which moves with the network. We print no fee figure. Check the cashier for today's amounts.
What does the address pattern rule out?
A pattern starting with r accepts classic addresses. XRP also has a longer form that packs a tag into the address itself, and that form begins differently. If your wallet offers it, give Cloudbet the classic address and put the tag in its own box.
Not covered
Promotions, wagering conditions and licensing details for Cloudbet are not covered on this page. None of them is stated for XRP on the pages we read, and none is invented here.
